AT THE ROOF

Bye bye roof terrace. I enjoyed many sunny days here during july and august - listening to music, reading a book or talking to the next door german girl who seemed to be the only one beside me using the terrace. 

I will miss this lovely flat and Leyton, for sure!

NORDIC BAKERY & OTHER ADVENTURES

"Lights will guide you home"

Yesterday me and Frieda went to Nordic Bakery in Soho. Had karjalanpiirakkaa, ruisleipää and korvapuustia. I asked where the waitress was from, and she turned out to be Finnish - and she said that she knew straight away that I was from Finland as well :)

We also wandered around in Bond Street,  dreamed of a life where we could actually buy something from the shops that are located there. Realized that the days are getting shorter and therefor darker too early. I am not ready for fall yet...

DALSTON

My new baby has arrived: Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D Lens. 

Need to practice a bit more but I like it already a lot !!

Yesterday after work me and Frieda decided to check out Dalston and took some photos with the new lens. 

We were trying to find Graffitis but only got picture of one... 

PS. Today at work one of the girls from the other office asked if anyone has ever said that I look like Amanda Bynes - before she went crazy (she quickly added). I have been told that once before here but never in Finland. I really don't like Amanda Bynes and hope that I don't look like her! :D :D

LIVERPOOL STREET

Yesterday after work (and after rain) me and Frieda were walking in Liverpool street. Took some photos next to 30 St Mary Axe or the Gherkin, or The Egg as we call it.

Had steaks at Slug and Lettuce cause Monday is happy day, everything is 50% off. 

Who would not enjoy a rump steak that is only £5 ?
