SAATCHI GALLERY

I spent my Sunday at Saatchi Gallery. Again a place that is totally FREE! And you can take pictures as well :) I really enjoyed the paper exhibition - some immediately may think crafts and origami; however, the exhibition was more serious in tone and champions work from forty-four international artists who all use paper to challenge ideas, and expectations of the medium through collage, sculpture, painting and installation.

Saatchi Gallery is located next to Sloane Square and is open everyday 10am - 6 pm.

NEW DESIGNERS FROM SCOTLAND

My friends from Scotland graduated this spring. A semester in Finland does wonders...
Scott was the "black sheep" who wasn't inspired by Scandinavian design ;)

Still, I am very proud of ALL OF THEM!

NEW DESIGNERS

Some pictures from the New Designer Exhibition that started on Wednesday. I found the jewellery to be the most interesting thing at this expo. For example in the picture above is a ceramic necklace. How creative!

DEGREE SHOW '13

Walked around a bit in Winchester before heading to Uni...

We went to the Winchester Degree Show yesterday.
Lot of things to see - really enjoyed the exhibition!
So much talent in this School!

Also, me and Emilia met Finnish people!!
Their son was graduating - we had never met him before.
They live in Turku in the same area where I live. Such a small world! :)
